Yes well to mr Lou Dobbs, If you had read my issue properly you would have noticed I stated that it is 100% vanilla Skyrim, I do not have a single mod installed I even went as far as uninstalling Nexus mod manager & then manually deleting every single mod as well before attempting a clean re-install, but this was not the issue as the vanilla is behaving the same as the modded Skyrim so I'm certain the issue is connected to the new 1.9 patch & I was trying to get some confirmation here before I officially lodged a cry for help through official channels to see what could be done to resolve the issue, all I really wanted to know was if I've missed something obvious here. I then took the drastic step of backing everything up on an external drive and un-installing the game completely then wiping all associated files and folders from existence and doing a completely clean re-install (I have not added back any old files except for my last stable save then I loaded the game and immediately created a new save) so now have a 100% vanilla Skyrim with no mods or anything that shouldn't be there and a clean vanilla save and even after all that pain and frustration I still can't play for more than 30 seconds without a CTD I'm absolutely convinced it's the new update thats the problem here because my computer is a beast capable of eating the most demanding programs and games for breakfast I had something like 80+ mods installed before this and ran Skyrim on the ultra high setting with not a single problem before this new patch now it's just completely unplayable any help or suggestions anyone can think of at this point would be greatly appriciated (I may have missed something), I really wish Steam had an option to roll back the updates because I'm certain that's the cause of the crashes and a roll back would fix my issue :(
SKYRIM THE PEOPLE OF SKYRIM CTD DRIVERS
At first I thought It was something to do with one of my mods being in conflict with the new patch so I systematically went through and checked every one with no success, I still couldn't find the culprit and it continued to crash when attempting to save so after a few days of trying various things like checking all my drivers were up to date and trying different video settings etc. I am also experiencing this annoying CTD issue, it started directly after the new patch auto installed via the steam updater.
